Ready to Respond

The Tunica Volunteer Fire Department, with support from the town of Tunica, works tirelessly to serve and protect more than 80% of the land and property in Tunica county.

It is a partnership that has earned the town’s fire department a class 7 fire rating within town limits, an 8 rating within a 5-mile radius of town. Outside of that radius, the department has earned a 10 rating as determined by the insurance rating bureau. 

The Town of Tunica Fire Department has 3 class A pumpers and 2 are dual purpose Rescue Trucks. In addition Tunica County supplies to 8000 gallon tanker trucks for water supply to rural areas.

The Fire Department is located in the back of Town Hall at 909 River Road.
